When submitting virtual sizing, both hands must be taken, and thumbs must be taken separately. Nail beds should be facing upwards, where both sidewalls of fingernails can be seen and virtually measured. Sizing is most accurate; however, sometimes it is not exact. best sizing option would be to order a physical sizing kit-- this does prolong the process. Toe sizing will be the same concept.
